This is my first attempt to make a flash game integrating facebook api for leaderboard and stuffs. Also, it’s bullet hell shmup on facebook! Now bragging about your score with your shmupmania friends is much easier.

The game is your basic bullet hell shmup game. You have to survive for 60 seconds while trying to get as many points as possible. The enemy waves are procedural generated, and will get more and more difficult as time pass. Going up higher on the screen will give you more multiplier. You can also enter slow mode for precise movement by holding left shift, but that will halve down your current multiplier.
This is still beta though. I have yet to implement monthly and weekly ranking, so now it’s alltime ranking only. I’m experimenting with enable fullscreen too ( FarmVille and Restaurant City did it ) since it’s much better to play bullet hell shmup fullscreen. I might add an extra boss or something too.
Anyway, happy gaming! New flixel rocks! The game plays very smoothly on my computer, and I hope it’s the same for you guys!
Player and enemy sprites are done by SquirrelSquid. Great stuffs!

Long time no blog, it seems
I had been busy with the final thesis, which took most of my time during the past year as well as consuming most of my life energy. Ughhh.
Anyway, it’s all over now! That means I AM FRIGGIN GRADUATED~ Wheeeeeee~ I guess now I finally have time to finish all the projects I’ve started or plan to do ( Ninja Kame, Adolescence, Magus Magus , etc. )
Recently we have released our first flash game , which is actually a port of our old game. The game is DotPlus and you can try and play the game here

The game was made using Flixel, a brilliant game framework for action script 3. If you want to make a game using AS3 and don’t want to bother with Flash IDE, then I’d really recommend flixel. It’s just gone through a complete overhaul and supposed to be much better now ( not that it wasn’t awesome before ). I haven’t tried it yet but I’m planning to use it soon, considering I had so much fun writing game using flixel
Also, it’s good money hehehe.
In other news, Alice In Underground won’t make it in time for the HBGame contest, due to me being sick for a week and a half ( blame the thesis! ). The release date is now moved to something around the end of January. Here are some screenshots so far
